FFB IN RACEROOM RACING EXPERIENCE PATCH

What i'm looking for is something like Assetto Corsa feedbacknot in fact of strenght, but in fact of feeling with road AC has really good FFB, rough enough for my taste I've tried everything posted on this forum maybe something was tried before the patch or maybe i missed the correct set up with raw i got a good feeling with kerbs but not with the tyres.

I guess it is all depending on personal feeling, but for my DD2 (mostly the same as your DD1) I find that 60 Understeer makes the wheel to loose force too fast for me in some corners, thus loosing some information ( Noticed it specially in Nürburgring GP Strecke turn 5 (Dunlop-Kehre) )īut I see that you combined it with different values so I will give it a go for comparisson.Remember Me? Last Jump to page: Results 1 to 10 of I'm am an owner of a t gt edition wheel and obviously i'm a ps4 player. I can't ramp up Steering force intensity to 100 or else it is very hard to turn (I also use 60 FF in Fanalab)

FFB IN RACEROOM RACING EXPERIENCE UPDATE

So far, the update has made a very positive impression on me, driving is really fun, but also forgiving a lot. I also very much welcome the physics update for the DTM 1992 vehicles! I liked the old FFB, but now it's really good. Wow what's going on here, I finally have a noticeable FFB! At the moment I have changed the Min Force to 5 and a few more settings, but only slightly compared to the standard for the DD1 and I am thrilled. again speechless I looked at the FFB settings and noticed that the minimum force was set to 20 for one DD Wheel strange and changed it to zero. Set up my Fanatec DD1 according to the instructions, so all the axles occupied the buttons and drove the Porsche 911 GT3 on Zandvoort a few laps. Opened me a beer and quietly started again. Adjusted what was possible and helplessly deleted everything. If you start the game after the update and want to drive as usual in the menu as well as in your own without changing the settings, you will be surprised and disappointed. Since this happens in a straight line with the wheel centered, it can't be related to FFB changes. (**) For example before the update I could apply 100% brakes at top speed in a straight line in the Porsche 934, but if I do that now the rear wheels just instantly lock up and the car spins out. (*) Which was also the main reason why I recently decided to spend more money on this game, despite the horrible "can't buy a bundle twice" policy which means it costs a loyal customer more to complete their collection than a person who never spent a single cent in the past to get all content. But if that means that the 99% of us who only have to rely on their wheel will get a much worse experience, then I think we need a "classic FFB" setting in the options.

I guess I could improve that further by more tweaking the settings and also that some of that change of behaviour comes from the new physics (**), but it's still a huge disappointment when I compare the old "perfect out of the box" to the new "suboptimal even after tweaking".įrom what I've read in the blog posts it seems like the goal of the new FFB is to be more realistic when driving in full motion simulators where you also have your body as a source of feedback what the car is doing. 1/10Īfter hours of testing and significantly increasing a lot of the values in the force feedback settings, I'm now at a 6/10-8/10 depending on the car. The result was there was almost no feedback at all, it felt like I was using a non-FFB wheel with just a center force and a bit of controller vibration. Then I followed the loading screen recommendation to delete my profile and remake it from the default for my controller (Logitech Driving Force GT). It was still possible to drive, but it was a lot harder to feel what the car was doing so I had to drive slower and more careful to not lose control. 10/10Īfter the update, without having changed any settings, it felt like the cars were super light and driving on ice. I could hop into any car with the default setup and after a few laps of getting used to how the car handles it was a lot of fun to drive fast laps. Before the update, this game had by far the best FFB of all racing games I've played (*).
